2013 Porsche 911 Turbo: In a few years, the upcoming generation of the Porsche 911 is going to be available in a wide variety of body styles, including here a coupe, Targa, convertible, speedster, along with a whole bunch of limited editions. CarScoop reader and avid Porsche-hunter Toldi was able to capture a thinly disguised prototype of the new 991 Turbo Coupe on the streets of Porsche’s hometown of Stuttgart in Germany with his camera.

In addition, it will feature more air inlets, different exhaust tail pipes and a new set of alloys designed especially for this hot model. The car will be powered by a direct-injection, 6-cylinder engine which will be installed at the back. The 3.8-liter engine of the current generation produces 500 hp in the standard version while in the Turbo S variant it outputs 530 hp. We don’t know how much power it will generate in the new version but most likely more than the one in the outgoing generation

2011 TechArt Porsche 911 Turbo: The TechArt front spoiler reduces aerodynamic lift by 15 percent. They also moulded a new wing profile for the retractable production rear spoiler which produces 20 percent extra downforce in conjunction with the TechArt rear diffuser. The understated TechArt roof spoiler visually stretches the roofline. The TechArt side sills give the 911 top-of-the-line model a longer, sleeker look. The side mirrors can be attractively upgraded using the TechArt mirror moldings.

The look is rounded out with moldings for the headlights. Especially for the new Porsche 911 Turbo they developed the striking TechArt Formula five-spoke wheels in size 8.5Jx20 in front and in size 12Jx20 on the rear axle. TechArt recommends ContiSportContact 3 tires in sizes 245/30 ZR 20 and 325/25 ZR 20 for mounting on these wheels. The TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension is available for the electronically adjustable PASM damper system of the new Turbo.

2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4s: The main way to tell apart the rear-wheel drive (RWD) 911s from their all-wheel drive (AWD) siblings is the moniker on the rear and the reflective strip that connects the tail lamps. Just like the RWD variants, the Carrera 4 has two oval tailpipes while the more powerful Carrera 4S sports quad exhausts tips. We don’t have any official information on the specifications yet, but aside from Porsche's all-wheel drive system, the Carrera 4 and 4S models will feature a modified suspension.

That will add some weight to the car. The engines will be the same as the ones found on the RWD versions. As such, the base Carrera 4 features a 3.4-litre flat-six with direct fuel injection and an output of 345hp (350PS) at 7,400 rpm and 390Nm (288 lb-ft) at 5,600 rpm, while the Carrera 4S makes do with a 3.8-litre flat-six with direct fuel injection rated at 394hp (400PS) at 7,400 rpm and 440Nm (324 lb-ft) at 5,600 rpm.

2013 Porsche Panamera GTS

2013 Porsche Panamera GTS: Porsche pulled the wraps off its latest addition to the Panamera family, the 430-horsepower GTS. Bridging the gap between the 4S and the Turbo model, the GTS offers 30 more horsepower than the V-8 S model. Torque also increases from 369 lb-ft to 384 lb-ft. The added power is channeled to all four wheels through Porsche’s PDK dual-clutch transmission, with the experience further heightened by the GTS’ Sport Chrono package.

The combination of hardware enables the GTS to sprint from 0-62 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds. Top speed is 179 mph. Yet the GTS’ story isn’t all about straight-line speed. Porsche’s Active Suspension Management system, standard on the new trim, constantly regulates load leveling, ride height, spring rate, and damping. The GTS also features a slightly wider stance than its less-aggressive S counterpart courtesy of 5-millimeter wheel spacers in the rear. The rubber meets the road with 255/45-19 front and 285/40-19 rear tires.

Porsche took on a new concept to extend their range by introducing a 2+2 luxury Grand Tourer to compliment the out and out sports car that the 911 model was, Making its first appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in 1977, the front engined water cooled 4.5 L, SOHC 16-valve V8 producing 237 Bhp sending the drive to the rear wheels. The 928 was available as either a 3 speed automatic or 5 speed dog-leg box with the most popular option being the automatic. To save weight the 928 was constructed from steel with aluminium panels, roof and had many ground breaking features for a sports car and was rewarded with the 1978 “European car of the Year”

With metallic meteor paint work and flat disc wheels, wine red leather and special striped fabric seat centers The North American 1985 928 S had a new 5.0 L, DOHC unit with 4 valves per cylinder and producing 288 Bhp.

Late 1986 brought an updated 5.0 L V8 for all markets producing 320 Bhp, using a single-disc clutch for the 5 speed manuals and a bigger torque converter in automatics

Porsche 928 GT

1989 came the replacement for the 928 CS and automatic transmission was not available.

Porsche 928 GTS

The S4 and GT were both replaced in 1991 by the GTS and it housed a larger 5400cc 345 bhp, slightly revised bodywork and bigger brakes.
